4/7/2008 Update on Michael Hauser
Margie & I went to Richmond , Va Thursday morning via ANGEL FLIGHT (PILOT:JOE DeMARCO) and stayed till Sunday noon... Our Daughter (Georgette Lynn Domagala) flew in Sunday morning with Joe & surprised her Brother & then flew back home to Western New York where it was SUNNY & 67 DEGREES...  It was Rainy in RICHMOND..  Now for the UPDATE on MIKE. He is TALKING...Has SHORT TERM MEMORY. He is MOVING HIS LEFT LEG.. Remember He was paralyzed on the left side of His body. He also has a little feeling in His LEFT HAND. Margie & I saw Mike stand up 3 times during therapy with His therapist AL. Another lady came in who is a SPEECH THERAPIST. asked questions such as what day is it,what time is it,where are You,what State are You in,what year is it.   (GEES , I'm retired & I think I forget what day of the week it is !!! ).  He did say he was in Vermont , but then said Virginia. He passed with a little coaching from the therapist. Margie & I stayed totally quiet.. No help from Mom & Dad..  He was really glad to see Georgette. a nice surprise. Rachel (Mikes Wife) is excellent with Mike. Margie calls her the ROCK OF GIBRALTER.. Rachels mom (Jean) was visiting Mike too & is staying till the 17th of April & then She'll go back to Tacoma , Washington.  Mike has sure come a long long way. In Landstuhl , We were told Mike may never come out of His COMA..33 days later He did. Now it's developing MOTOR SKILLS.. We tell Mike about all the People praying for Him. He's Very Grateful. So are Margie & I. Please keep the PRAYERS COMING..  GOD BLESS YOU ALL... RAY...
